Fiorillo scores 15 in Vermont's 81-59 win against Albany
BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Nick Fiorillo's 15 points helped Vermont defeat Albany 81-59 on Thursday night.
Fiorillo was 5 of 8 shooting, including 1 for 4 from 3-point range, and went 4 for 5 from the line for the Catamounts (17-5, 7-0 America East Conference). TJ Long scored 14 points while going 6 of 12 (2 for 8 from 3-point range), and added seven rebounds. Aaron Deloney was 4 of 8 shooting and 5 of 6 from the free throw line to finish with 13 points. It was the eighth straight win for the Catamounts.
The Great Danes (11-11, 3-4) were led by Amar'e Marshall, who recorded 20 points and three steals. Ny'Mire Little added 12 points for Albany. Muneer Newton also had nine points.
