Fidler scores 34, Omaha takes down North Dakota State 96-92 in OT

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Frankie Fidler scored a season-high 34 points to lead Omaha over North Dakota State 96-92 in overtime on Saturday night.

Fidler made 11 of 19 shots with four 3-pointers for the Mavericks (10-9, 3-1 Summit League). He added 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. JJ White scored 19 points while shooting 6 of 11 from the field and 6 for 7 from the line, adding seven rebounds and seven assists. Marquel Sutton shot 8 of 15 from the field and 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 19 points. Nick Davis pitched in with 13 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots.

The Bison (8-10, 1-2) were led by sophomore Damari Wheeler-Thomas, who scored a career-best 30 on 12-for-17 shooting with four 3-pointers. Andrew Morgan added a season-high 24 points on 9-for-13 shooting with seven rebounds off the bench. Boden Skunberg scored 18, while Jacari White pitched in with 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.
