Evan Ipsaro scores 20 as Miami (Ohio) defeats Arkansas-Pine Bluff 111-84

OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — Evan Ipsaro scored 20 points as Miami (Ohio) beat UAPB 111-84 on Sunday.

Ipsaro shot 5 for 8 (1 for 4 from 3-point range) and 9 of 9 from the free-throw line for the RedHawks (5-0). Peter Suder had 17 points and Trey Perry scored 15.

The Golden Lions (0-8) were led by Jaquan Scott, who finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. Jai’chaunn Hayes added 15 points and Milhan Charles scored 13.

Miami (OH) took the lead with 15:19 remaining in the first half and did not trail again. Antwone Woolfolk led the team in scoring with 10 points in the first half to help put them up 56-36 at the break.
