GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Florida likely will be without starting forward Justin Leon against No. 9 West Virginia on Saturday.

Leon suffered a concussion early in Tuesday's loss at Vanderbilt and hasn't been cleared to practice or play. Coach Mike White on Friday called Leon's status a "probable absence."

A junior from Conway, Arkansas, Leon is averaging 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in his first year with the Gators. He transferred to Florida after two years at Shawnee Community College in Illinois.

If he doesn't play, the Gators are likely to use a three-guard starting lineup featuring KeVaughn Allen, Chris Chiozza and Kasey Hill.

Center John Egbunu says: "We definitely got to pick up the slack. You know he's really good and brings a lot of energy to the team."
