Idaho St. downs feisty Cal St. Northridge 74-66 (Dec 06, 2017)

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) Balint Moscan shot 6 of 9 beyond the 3-point arc en route to a career-high 23 points and Idaho State handed Cal State Northridge its seventh consecutive loss 74-66 on Wednesday night.

The Matadors led for most of the first half and went to intermission with a 35-30 lead. But Moscan made three 3s in less than three minutes and the Bengals were up 48-44.

Boscan extended the lead to 55-47 with 11:06 left on another 3 before the Matadors rallied and took a 66-65 lead on Mahamadou Kaba-Camara's lead with 1:53 left. They were unable to score from there with two misses and a turnover.

Novak Topalovic put Idaho State for good with a jumper at 1:23 and Brandon Boyd scored the Bengals' last seven points with a 3-point play and four more free throws. Boyd had 15 points and made all eight of his free throws and Topalovic had 13.

Micheal Warren led Cal State Northridge (1-7) with 18 points and a career-high 12 rebounds and Terrell Gomez had 15.
