Henry Caruso, Princeton beat Saint Peter's 75-72

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) Henry Caruso scored 23 points, including two free throws with 13 seconds left for a four-point margin, and Princeton held off Saint Peter's 75-72 on Saturday night.

Princeton opted to foul with a three-point lead. St. Peter's Trevis Wyche made 1 of 2 free throws with 2.4 seconds left and Princeton's Henry Caruso was fouled 1 second later on the rebound. He made 1 of 2 free throws and the Peacocks' desperation 3-pointer was off the mark.

Amir Bell had 12 points and nine rebounds for Princeton (2-0), and Caruso added eight rebounds. The Tigers made 20 of 38 free throws (53 percent) compared to 12 of 19 for Saint Peter's

Cameron Jones made five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points for Saint Peter's (1-3). Antwon Portley hit three 3s and scored 20 points.
