ImpactChisholm had been a healthy scratch in Winnipeg's last 23 games. The 24-year-old blueliner saw action in two contests this season, grabbing an assist and blocking a pair of shots. If he clears waivers, Chisholm will likely return to AHL Manitoba.

Gabriel Vilardi - Returns from injuryVilardi registered a shot on goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss against the Maple Leafs.
ImpactAfter missing the last two games for the Jets, Vilardi (lower body) returned to his regular right wing spot on the second line and was centered by Rasmus Kupari. He had the third most ice time amongst the forwards, getting 17:30 TOI and ended up with a minus-1 rating. He heads into the NHL All-Star break with 20 points on the season in 27 games played.

Josh Morrissey - Garners assistMorrissey notched an assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.
ImpactThe loss was not from a lack of effort from Morrissey as he was on the ice for almost half the game, playing 34 shifts while notching 27:21 TOI. His assist late in the third period was too late, as only 12 seconds remained after the Jets cut the lead to 4-2. The 28-year old defenseman added two shots, one hit, a minus-2 rating and two blocked shots. The Jets are off for the NHL All-Star break and will return on Feb. 6 when they visit the Penguins.

Auston Matthews - Scores 40th goalMatthews scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Jets.
ImpactMatthews has done it again - 40 times to be exact. With the Maple Leafs on a 2-man advantage late in the third period, Mathews took a pass from Mitchell Marner and absolutely wired a slapshot past Connor Hellebuyck. This was the 26-year old's third goal in as many games and his seventh in his past five. He is now on pace to score 70 goals on the season, eclipsing his career best of 60 goals in the 2021-22 season. Matthews is now off to the NHL All-Star game in Toronto.

Connor Hellebuyck - Yields three goals in lossHellebuyck stopped 26 of 29 shots in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
ImpactWith the Jets up 1-0 late in the first period, Ryan Reaves tipped a shot from Noah Gregor past Hellebuyck that he had no chance on. The Maple Leafs then proceeded to fire 22 more shots at him, scoring on two power-play goals, including the 40th by Auston Matthews. He finished with an .897 save percentage on the night. The 30-year old netminder has started seven out of Winnipeg's past nine games and has a .936 save percentage with only 13 goals allowed over that span. Hellebuyck is now going to be heading off to the NHL All-Star game in Toronto.
