News: Hall (eyebrow) returned to practice Tuesday, according to the Edmonton Journal.
Impact: Hall took eight stitches above his right eyebrow but passed all concussion tests and was cleared for practice. The Oilers may elect to hold him out of their next preseason game but he will be ready to start the season for the team.

News: Hall suffered only a cut on his nose and a minor bump as a result of the hit he took in Monday's game, TSN's Ryan Rishaug reports.
Impact: That's good news for injury-shy Hall owners. The team may be cautious with him in the next couple days, but his status to open the season is in no doubt.

News: Hall left Monday's preseason game after taking a big hit from Flames winger Garnet Hathaway, Wes Gilbertson of the Calgary Sun reports.
Impact: He could have just left as a precaution, but Hall's been hurt a lot over his first five NHL seasons, so any sign of injury has to be considered a concern. Still, consider him day-to-day until more information is released.
