News: Borowiecki gathered an assist in Thursday's win over the Canadiens.
Impact: Borowiecki has produced two of his nine points on the season in the last three games, but that shouldn't be taken as a sign that an offensive outbreak is imminent. He's only attempted one shot over that span, instead delivering most of his most value in the form of hits and blocked shots.

News: Borowiecki (leg) has been activated from injured reserve, but will not play in Thursday's game against the Stars, the Ottawa Citizen reports.
Impact: Borowiecki has been medically cleared to return, but coach Dave Cameron will send him to the press box for another game. While it appears Borowiecki is fully healthy, it remains unknown whether he'll get the call to return to the lineup Saturday against the Coyotes.

News: Borowiecki was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and says he is fully recovered from his leg laceration, Chris Hofley of the Ottawa Sun reports.
Impact: Borowiecki suffered a severe cut to his leg while warming up for a Dec. 29 game, ultimately requiring over 40 stitches to seal the gash. He was cleared to resume skating over a week ago and doesn't seem to be feeling any lingering pain in his leg, putting him on the cusp of a return to action. The blueliner, who skated with Patrick Wiercioch on the Sens' third pairing at Wednesday's practice, could be activated from IR in advance of Thursday's tilt with the Stars.
