Trey Lipscomb - Optioned to Triple-ALipscomb was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
ImpactLipscomb got regular at-bats at third base while Nick Senzel was on the injured list, but with Senzel back in action Lipscomb will head back to Rochester to play every day. The 23-year-old has slashed .224/.278/.286 with one home run and four stolen bases over 14 games with the big club.

Nick Senzel - Activated from injured listThe Nationals reinstated Senzel (thumb) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
ImpactSenzel landed on the 10-day IL after he fractured his right thumb while fielding grounders before the Nationals' season opener. He played three games with Double-A Harrisburg as part of his rehab assignment and went 4-for-7 with one double, one RBI and three walks. Senzel is starting at third base and batting sixth for Monday's game against the Dodgers, per Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com.

Keibert Ruiz - Lands on 10-day ILThe Nationals placed Ruiz (illness) on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to April 12, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
ImpactRuiz has been out since April 8 while battling an illness, which has been severe enough for the Nationals to place the catcher on the IL. Riley Adams will start behind home plate in Ruiz's absence, while Drew Millas will serve as the backup after being called up from Triple-A Rochester by the Nationals on Monday.

Esteury Ruiz - Spotted in Oakland clubhouseRuiz was spotted in the Athletics' clubhouse Monday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
ImpactRuiz has not yet been officially recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas, but it could be coming. J.D. Davis (hip/groin) is expected to be sidelined for at least a few days and could be an injured list candidate. Ruiz has a 1.004 OPS with three home runs and seven stolen bases over 11 games since his demotion to Las Vegas. Given his stolen base upside, he would immediately land back on the fantasy radar if he's recalled, although it's not clear how often the A's would plan to play him.

J.D. Davis - Likely out at least a few daysDavis (groin) is unlikely to play for at least a few days, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
ImpactDavis suffered a hip flexor/groin injury Sunday and was set to be examined by Athletics doctors Monday. Esteury Ruiz was spotted in the A's clubhouse Monday, but it's not clear whether he could be a potential roster replacement for Davis. More information should be available after Davis' exam.

JJ Bleday - Heats up at plate SundayBleday went 3-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.
ImpactBleday authored one of two three-hit efforts for the Athletics, and he scored the run that started Oakland's rally from a five-run deficit. In the process, the outfielder snapped out of a brief 0-for-10 skid that had encompassed his previous three games, and his productive afternoon gave his batting average a welcome 34-point boost to .262.
