Jose Trevino - Receives injection in back Trevino received a cortisone injection in his back and could start ramping up his rehab Saturday, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.

Impact Trevino remains on the 10-day injured list and isn't eligible to be activated until Wednesday. The veteran catcher hit .091/.167/.091 with a 1:3 BB:K across 12 plate appearances before going down with the injury.

Jose Franco - Sent to Triple-A The Reds optioned Franco to Triple-A Louisville on Friday.

Impact Franco made his MLB debut with the Reds on March 30 and pitched in three games out of Cincinnati's bullpen, registering a 3.18 ERA, 2.12 WHIP and 4:5 K:BB across 5.2 innings. He'll need to work on his command in the minors. In a corresponding move, the Reds recalled Kyle Nicolas from Louisville.
