Watch Edinson Cavani rifle four goals past Caen in the first half

During PSG's midweek Champions League contest against Arsenal, Edinson Cavani stunningly scored within the first minute. It wasn't crazy to think that more goals were on the way from the Uruguayan. It turned out there wouldn't be, at least in that match, but it wasn't because Cavani was deprived of chances.

Friday offered us a look at what Cavani can truly be when he really feels his oats and seizes goal-scoring opportunities and runs with them. Cavani went absolutely mental in PSG's first half against Caen, picking up a hat trick in 38 minutes and then adding a fourth for good measure before the break. Watch in awe as Cavani goes full banana sandwich against his Ligue 1 foes.

He's, dare I say it, prolific. Of course, this is all against lesser competition than he faced in the Champions League (or on the international stage), but maybe, just maybe, Cavani has found the cure for his yips.
