Impact Cavani had a decent debut season in La Liga during the 2022-2023 campaign, as he scored five goals and recorded two assists in 25 appearances, tied for the most goal contributions on the team. He also picked up six yellow cards, his most in a domestic league season since the 2012-2013 Serie A campaign with Napoli. The 36-year-old battled through multiple injuries during this past season, so if he can play closer to a full slate of games next season he could edge closer to double digits in goal contributions.
