Watch: Heat star Bosh returns to court for offseason practice

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 3:47 p.m. ET

It's not uncommon to see younger NBA players gathering to practice in the offseason, and for the past few weeks, the likes of Tyler Johnson, Shabazz Napier and James Ennis have been regularly going at it at the Miami Heat's practice court at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Even Hassan Whiteside has been spotted working on his game with assistant coach Juwan Howard at the facility. Zoran Dragic recently flew back from Europe to join his teammates as well.

The Heat received a huge boost Tuesday when Chris Bosh joined them to resume basketball activities for the first time since being diagnosed with blood clots on his lung after the All-Star break in February.

The Heat later posted a practice video showing Bosh working on drills with head coach Erik Spoelstra and assistant coach David Fizdale. He does not go head-to-head against his teammates.

Bosh's recent trip to Peru was well-documented on his social media accounts, showing him hiking on nature trails with his family. He has been ramping up his physical activity since the conclusion of the regular season.
