GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Aaron Rodgers has been a regular at Milwaukee Bucks games for years. Now, the Green Bay Packers quarterback may soon be more than just a fan of the NBA franchise.

A recent report from the Racine Journal Times stated that Rodgers had talked to new Bucks owners Marc Lasry and Wes Edens about joining them as part of the ownership group.

After Tuesday's Packers minicamp practice, Rodgers certainly didn't deny the possibility of becoming a part-owner of the Bucks.

"I don't have any update," Rodgers said. "Besides the fact that I was wearing a Bucks long-sleeve (during a recent interview)."

Rodgers was then asked directly if becoming part of the new Bucks ownership group is something that interests him.

"I'm a big fan of the Bucks; I have been for a long time," Rodgers said. "I love going to the games. They've been great to me. I'm excited about the new ownership, and it seems like they have a desire to keep the team in the area. But I've been a fan for a while."

Later, Rodgers wouldn't say whether he had talked to Lasry and Edens about ownership of the Bucks.

Often sitting courtside across from the Bucks bench, Rodgers is difficult to miss in the crowd. As the most popular and well-known athlete in Wisconsin, Rodgers' presence in the arena always creates a buzz.

Perhaps the next time Rodgers takes his seat at a Bucks game it will be in a chair reserved for an owner.
