Peyton Manning joins Kenny Chesney on stage at Bristol Motor Speedway
Bristol Motor Speedway is the center of college football attention this weekend. Virginia Tech and Tennessee meet in the Battle of Bristol on Saturday before 150,000, the largest attendance in college football history.
The opening act for the football game was a Kenny Chesney concert on Friday. That show had an attendance of "only 60,000."
Chesney, a native Tennessean, brought out another megastar from the Volunteer State during the show, Peyton Manning.
The pair worked the stage before giving an autographed acoustic guitar to one of the younger fans in attendance.
This was not the first time for the Manning-Chesney combo.
They sang together in a rather tiny venue in Key West in 2009.
In 2010, at a sold-out Neyland Stadium, Manning joined Chesney and actually sang along with him on "Back Where I Come From."
