Packers sign former Badgers LB Vince Biegel

It's official: former Wisconsin Badgers standout Vince Biegel is a member of the Green Bay Packers.

The Wisconsin Rapids native signed with his hometown team Tuesday, a month after the Packers nabbed the linebacker in the fourth round of the NFL Draft.

Biegel was the third Badger selected, joining fellow OLB T.J. Watt (Pittsburgh) and offensive tackle Ryan Ramczyk (New Orleans).

A three-year starter for the Badgers, Biegel racked up 38.5 tackles for loss and 20.5 sacks in 52 career games at Wisconsin.

Biegel underwent foot surgery earlier this month after missing much of rookie minicamp with a hand injury.
