Marlins' Hechavarria sidelined for Saturday's game at Mets with shoulder injury

Miami Marlins shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria sat Saturday's game against the New York Mets with a left shoulder injury.
Hechavarria, who started Miami's first 49 games, collided with Christian Yelich on a shallow fly to left during the ninth inning of a 4-3 win on Friday.
The 26-year-old told reporters at Citi Field he would also miss Sunday's contest as doctors evaluate him to determine the extent of the injury.
"I'm just waiting for the doctor to come in and evaluate me, and then I'll have a better understanding of where I'll be after today," Hechavarria said.
Donovan Solano got the start at short in Hechavarria's place. Should he require a stint on the disabled list, Miguel Rojas could be recalled from Triple-A New Orleans.
In 49 games, Hechavarria is batting .300 with two homers and 20 RBI.
Last season, he went on the DL for a right triceps strain. Hechavarria also rested during spring training with a "tired" right shoulder.
