'Inside the Heat: Udonis Haslem' premieres April 4 on Sun Sports
MIAMI -- "He is the epitome of what the HEAT is about. He is our anchor, he is a true warrior and a great professional." -- HEAT President Pat Riley on resigning Udonis Haslem in 2010. On Saturday, April 4, at 10:30 p.m., FOX's Sun Sports, the regional television home of the Miami HEAT, will debut a new episode of "Inside the HEAT" upon conclusion of the HEAT vs. Detroit Pistons game. Titled "Udonis Haslem," this episode goes inside the life of Miami's co-captain as we spend a day at his home.
Hosted by Jason Jackson, the show begins with the perfect 305 spirited tour as UD takes us around his house and shows us his favorite parts of it from his closet storing his favorite Miami T's and hats, to his backyard where he spends time fishing with his son. We sit down with Udonis to discuss being a HEAT Lifer and what is has meant to him to sacrifice for the team who has been loyal to him his entire career. Udonis tells us about his relationship with Dwyane Wade and how being a co-captain and leader for young players has reflected upon him this season. We discuss his business partnerships and learn about his acting debut in a Kickstarter film that is raising awareness for a much bigger cause. Finally, we take a moment to sit down with his wife, Faith, and talk about their relationship, their family and how they balance their life.
"Inside the HEAT" is presented all-season long by Palmetto57 Nissan and Palmetto57 Volkswagen. See all of this and more on "Inside the HEAT: Udonis Haslem" and be sure to follow @SunSportsHEAT on twitter and visit FOXSportsFlorida.com for channel listings and exclusive Miami HEAT coverage.
