Holdout over: Chargers sign Joey Bosa to four-year contract
SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Chargers announced late Monday morning that they have signed first round selection defensive end Joey Bosa to a four-year contract.
“We look forward to having Joey join us and getting him prepared as quickly as possible for the 2016 season,” said Chargers general manager Tom Telesco in the team's release.
The team did not disclose any additional details on the contract, but the news should come as a relief to many Chargers fans who have been anxiously awaiting the third overall pick to join the team.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network tweeted details, stating the four-year contract is worth $25.8 million with a $17M signing bonus, all of which is guaranteed.
