Grizzlies wing Chandler Parsons could miss two weeks or more with a bone bruise in his left knee, the team announced on Sunday. Parsons will be reevaluated at that time.

Parsons, who signed a four-year, $94 million contract with Memphis this past offseason, has experienced prior issues in his right knee, requiring two surgeries.

The 28-year-old suffered the injury against his former team, the Dallas Mavericks, on Nov. 18. He did not play in the Grizzlies’ win over the Timberwolves on Nov. 19.

Parsons has slowly worked his way into coach David Fizdale’s rotation. In six games with the Grizzlies, he’s played 21 minutes per night, averaging 7.7 points on 47.3 percent true shooting and three rebounds.

The Grizzlies are 4-2 when Parsons is active this season.
