FOX Sports West, Players Trust serve local youth with buses for baseball

FOX Sports West has partnered with The Players Trust, a charitable foundation formed by the MLB Players Association, to transport local, underserved youth to the Big A as personal guests of the Angels players.
On Thursday, as part of the Buses for Baseball program, youngsters from the Kidsworks nonprofit in Santa Ana will hop aboard FOX Sports West's Get Your Red On Bus and will have the opportunity to not only watch the game, but also meet some of their favorite players and even enjoy complimentary ballpark food.
The Kidsworks organization aims to restore at-risk neighborhoods through academics and arts, health and fitness, college/career preparation and leadership development programs.
Since 2000, The Players Trust has been dedicated to providing inspiring and unforgettable baseball experiences for youth such as those benefitted by Kidsworks.
Over the course of this season, FOX Sports' regional networks and The Players Trust will provide these fun and free trips to more than 750 deserving kids. FOX Sports West is proud to participate in the Buses for Baseball program and to partner with such esteemed organizations in helping the sport of baseball be enjoyed by all.
