FOX Sports Sun announces Miami Heat playoffs first-round television schedule

MIAMI (April 13, 2018) – FOX Sports Sun announced the regional television schedule for the Miami HEAT’s first round playoff series versus the Philadelphia 76ers. All games will be televised locally on FOX Sports Sun, in addition to being made available on FOX Sports GO. Every broadcast will feature HEAT Live pregame coverage a half-hour before tipoff, as well as the HEAT Live postgame show upon conclusion of each game. The HEAT Live postgame show following Games 1, 3, 4 and 6 (if necessary) will include hour-long coverage.
Play-by-play announcer Eric Reid and color analyst Tony Fiorentino will call every game televised on FOX Sports Sun, while host and courtside reporter Jason Jackson returns to anchor the pre-post and in-game reporting. Kristen Hewitt and Will Manso round out the team of host / reporters who will cover the series, in addition to analysts Ron Rothstein and John Crotty.

In anticipation of Game 1 on Saturday night, FOX Sports Sun will air more than 12 continuous hours of HEAT basketball programming. The premiere of an hour-long “Inside the HEAT: U.D. and D. Wade” will air immediately following the extended Game 1 postgame show. For the first time in “Inside the HEAT” history, Udonis Haslem and Dwyane Wade sat down together, just the two of them, to discuss their relationship and all things HEAT. From their first season as rookies in 2003 when they joined a team that took the NBA by storm, to the trio of NBA Championship banners they helped raise to the rafters inside AmericanAirlines Arena, fans will want to watch this extraordinary hour-long conversation centered on Miami and how their legacy will always be tied together.
