Dodgers lefty ace Kershaw to make cameo on 'New Girl'
Dodgers left-hander Clayton Kershaw has two Cy Young Awards and a record-breaking $215 million contract, but does he also have acting chops?
Baseball fans will find out on Super Bowl Sunday when Kershaw makes a cameo appearance on an episode of "New Girl," airing on FOX immediately after the game.
According to a press release, Kershaw isn't the only major star appearing on the show. Rock musician Prince also stars, along with Victoria's Secret supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio and Ana Beatriz Barros.
In the episode, Jess, played by series star Zooey Deschanel, is invited to a mansion party thrown by Prince, and hilarity ensues.
As far as we know, Kershaw doesn't grab a guitar and rock out with Prince, but based on a preview provided by FOX, he has a brief, if unpleasant, exchange with Deschanel. It's short, so pay attention.

Kershaw has had plenty of national TV appearances, most of them on the mound, but this is his first turn on a TV sitcom.
Who knows? Maybe there's an Emmy in his future.
