Could Nick Swisher be the power surge the Cleveland Indians are looking for?

Believe it or not, yes.

The Indians outfielder, who is recovering from double knee surgeries, could provide a much-needed spark to the Tribe lineup upon his return from the disabled list. Swisher, who is currently on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus, went 5-for-9 in two games for the Clippers this past weekend.

In his first game action since 2014, Swisher had a three-hit night, including one RBI, for the Clippers on Friday night. He had two hits on Sunday (Saturday's game was postponed due to rain).

Swisher will return to Cleveland Monday night to be evaluated and discuss his remaining rehab schedule. His timetable to return is still in question.
