Clippers sign Nate Robinson to second 10-day contract

As expected, the Clippers signed Nate Robinson to a second 10-day contract.

Robinson, who had been out of basketball for more than a month, originally joined the Clippers on March 7.

Through five games, the guard is averaging 4.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 14.6 minutes per game.

This is the seventh NBA team Robinson has played for in his career. He's averaging 11.1 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds over nine seasons.

Robinson was traded from the Nuggets to the Celtics in January, but he never played in a game for Boston this season since he and the team reached a deal on a buyout.

In 2010, Robinson helped Doc Rivers and the Celtics reach the NBA Finals, and he's reunited, at least for another 10 days.

Once this contract expires, the Clippers will either have to sign Robinson for the rest of the season or not re-sign him.
