Check it out: 'If the NBA had helmets' project produces some pretty majestic designs

The Philadelphia 76ers helmet (above) and the rest you're about to see provide an answer to the question: What might the helmets look like if NBA players wore them?

A self-described unemployed graphic designer, James Politi, along with Luke Daly, posted the the full gallery to Reddit with imagined logos for each team. While working up the designs, Politi and Daly adhered to the rules: (1) no copy and pasting of existing basketball logos and (2) no basketballs in the logos, contrasting with the prevlaence of basketballs in actual NBA logos. 

We'd especially like to see the football Warriors, 76ers, Grizzlies, Raptors and Cavaliers on the gridiron. With Stephen Curry at quarterback or wide receiver.
