Bucks excelling in back-to-backs

BY foxsports • February 2, 2016

Could it be that youth is being served for the Milwaukee Bucks when they play the second game on back-to-back nights?

Normally, playing two straight nights might bring about a tired, fatigued team, especially if that team has to travel. But Milwaukee actually is one of the top shooting teams in the NBA when having no time off.

Team FG pct.
Warriors .500
Bucks .489

Spurs .487
Grizzlies .484

Team 3-pt pct.

Two Bucks players in particular are helping boost Milwaukee's 3-point field-goal percentage -- at least in the first half -- while another is doing the job for overall field-goal percentage... in the second half.

Other notes:

-- Greg Monroe has scored 20+ points in a career-high six games in a row, averaging 22.2 points in those contests. Monroe has had at least 14 points in seven consecutive games against the Trail Blazers -- his longest active scoring streak versus any opponent.

-- The Bucks have had all five starters with 10+ points 13 times this season. That is second-most in the NBA (the Pistons lead with 14) and the most for Milwaukee in a season since it had 13 in 1992-93.

-- Portland has won nine in a row at home vs. Milwaukee.
