All about 'The U': Marlins' Stanton takes in UM-FSU clash

Stanton, who is reportedly going to sign the largest contract in North American sports history, met Hurricanes freshman quarterback Brad Kaaya in May 2013 when the then-recruit visited Marlins Park. They went to rival high schools in Los Angeles but six years separate them.
Neither Stanton nor Ramos necessarily held a rooting interest, though they were both standing on the Miami sideline before the game.
Saltalamacchia, who is from West Palm Beach and attended Royal Palm Beach High, grew up a Seminoles fan. Predicting a close game but an FSU victory, he was wearing a No. 5 jersey with garnet-and-gold checkered shorts.
