WATCH: Rams' Gurley gets the drop on blitzing Packers' Matthews

St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley is living up to the hype three games into his professional career. His pass-blocking skills aren't too shabby, either.

Gurley rushed for 159 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss at the Green Bay Packers, providing a stellar sequel to his 146-yard effort in a Week 4 victory at the Arizona Cardinals.  

The No. 10 overall pick in this year's draft again flashed his big-play ability by ripping off a 55-yard run in the fourth quarter, but he may have left his most memorable impression on Packers linebacker Clay Matthews during a blitz pickup early in game.

Matthews burst up on the middle late in the opening quarter and in his path was a waiting Gurley, who hoisted the leaping sack specialist in mid-air and tossed him to the ground on his helmet.

Since picking up only nine yards on six carries in his NFL debut, Gurley has amassed 305 yards on 49 carries - a healthy 6.2 yards per pop - in the past two games.
