Texans QB Leinart inactive for opener

Matt Leinart was inactive for the Houston Texans opener against Indianapolis.

The Texans signed Leinart to a one-year contract this week after he was cut by Arizona. Receiver Dorin Dickerson, cornerback Antwaun Molden and guard Kasey Studdard were also among the inactive players for Houston. Molden has been bothered by an ankle injury.

Defensive back Jacob Lacey (head) and linebacker Cody Glenn (hamstring) were among the inactives for Indianapolis. Left tackle Charlie Johnson started after missing most of training camp with a sprained foot.
