TD dance doesn't impress ex-NFLer
Mike Tolbert scored his fourth touchdown of the season Sunday against Atlanta, and then the Carolina Panthers running back celebrated (above) as only a man scoring a touchdown against the Falcons can.
But not everyone was so impressed with Tolbert’s celebratory dance.
For one, Tolbert can probably expect a strongly-worded letter from PETA condemning his use of anti-bird imagery. This isn’t a world where imaginary bird-kicking will be tolerated.
He also got a strong critique from Jamal Anderson, the originator of the Dirty Bird:
Again, it doesn't bother me like that. I'm not mad at Tolbert. I'm not on the field. I did the Dirty Bird in 1998. It's 2013. #CarryOn

But don’t get it twisted. Anderson is totally not miffed about Tolbert using his dance. He even said so himself:
Right. Sure he’s not.
