NEW ORLEANS (AP) The New Orleans Saints have re-signed running back Kyle Hightower and receiver T.J. Graham, and cut fullback Austin Johnson and defensive back Akeem Davis.

Hightower, who was with New Orleans this preseason and briefly on the regular-season roster, has been trying to resurrect his career after three years out of the game because of complications related to a knee injury.

His return to the active roster comes on the same day the Saints put running back Khiry Robinson on injured reserve. Robinson fractured his tibia during New Orleans' 52-49 victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, and coach Sean Payton said Monday the running back would miss the rest of the season.

Graham, who has played for the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, has been on and off the roster this season.
