Rex Ryan calls first day of Bills camp better than skydiving
Rex Ryan has had quite the first offseason with the Buffalo Bills, and it's not even over yet. A few weeks ago, Ryan jumped out of a plane at the Niagara Air Show. On Friday, he was immortalized in a corn maze. What's next for the Bills head coach?
Well, it doesn't sound like he needs any more excitement now that camp has finally started. Saying he's excited is a huge understatement.
"I thought it would be tough finding something to top jumping out of a plane, but as a football coach, I think this topped it," Ryan said. "This day was a long time coming, you can't wait to get out here, itching and ready to go, you experience the fans, great weather, on the grass and all that stuff, man, it's tremendous."
Normally, skydiving is the first thing on most people's bucket lists. It might've been on Ryan's, but it probably wasn't at the top. It has to be uplifting for Bills players to hear Ryan's excitement for the team and for training camp to get underway, as they're a team that could use a spark.
