Playoffs or not, Jacksonville still has plenty to play for

Last Sunday's loss to the San Diego Chargers dropped the Jacksonville Jaguars two games out of first place in the AFC South and may have put a damper on the team's playoff hopes. But the final five weeks of the season offers plenty of motivation regardless, beginning with Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans.
As the team's official website notes, a win against Tennessee would mark the first time since 2010 Jacksonville has won four out six games. A win Sunday would also give the Jaguars five victories on the season, marking franchise's highest win total since 2011.
“We just want to keep that positive momentum,” linebacker Paul Posluszny said. “You get on a roll where you’re playing well, you’re playing at a high level, you’re starting to win and you’re starting to see some results. We want to make sure we do everything we can to make sure that continues.”
For a franchise not accustomed to winning, finishing strong down the stretch would be an important step heading into next year. Jacksonville won just nine games the last three seasons combined.
