Packers offensive line gets starting five back just in time

With the 2015 regular season approaching, the Green Bay Packers are finalizing their preparation for a matchup with the Chicago Bears in Week 1. That includes getting all five starting offensive lineman back on the field just days before the season starts.

If the timing seems too perfect, it's because the Packers were carefully planning and taking the proper precautions all along.

"Obviously now is the most important time, being there and getting reps together," Packers right guard T.J. Lang said, per Michael Cohen of the Journal Sentinel. "I think last week if it was regular season mode we probably -- all five -- would have been out there. But being the circumstance, I think it was a smart decision to get your guys some rest."

Lang, who suffered a concussion in Green Bay's second preseason game, returned to practice on Wednesday as the final piece of the puzzle. Left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), left guard Josh Sitton (ankle) and right tackle Byran Bulaga (ankle) were able to return from their respective injuries last week.

Now that the Packers' offensive linemen are all healthy, they can turn their focus to opening holes for running back Eddie Lacy and keeping quarterback Aaron Rodgers upright against the Bears.
