Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Marisa Miller will become the new spokeswoman for the National Football League's 2010-2011 season, according to the Hollywood Reporter on Monday.

"Marisa's love for the NFL and our sport made her ideally suited for this role," said Chris Parsons, vice president of NFL International. "We look forward to working with her."

The supermodel will be featured in a series of sexy new advertisements to promote the football league's events — including the October 31 International Series game when the San Francisco 49ers will face the Denver Broncos at Wembley Stadium in London.

"I'm so excited to have this incredible opportunity to partner with the NFL," Miller, 32, told the entertainment news website. "I've grown up watching football my whole life."

"I'm looking forward to helping gain new fans and show them how incredible the game of American football is!"
