FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) Darrelle Revis has returned to the practice field for the New York Jets for the first time since suffering a concussion in a game on Nov. 22 at Houston.

The star cornerback is wearing his helmet and a red no-contact jersey as drills begin Thursday. He could be very limited, but it's another sign of progress. Revis attended practice Wednesday for the first time since the injury.

Revis has missed two games and his status for the Jets' game against Tennessee on Sunday remains uncertain.

He is still going through the NFL's concussion protocol, and must be cleared before he can fully practice or play. Coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday Revis needed to pass two more neurological tests to be fully cleared.
