Indianapolis gets good news on 3 injured players
Colts coach Chuck Pagano says three players injured in Sunday's win over Jacksonville will be listed as day to day after MRIs came back negative.
Indy (11-5) lost cornerback Vontae Davis, defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin and linebacker Bjoern Werner during the first half of Sunday's 30-10 victory. Davis injured his groin, Franklin hurt his knee and Werner left with an ankle injury. Pagano also expects offensive lineman Mike McGlynn (elbow), defensive end Cory Redding (shoulder) and special teams star Sergio Brown (groin) to play in Saturday's wild-card game against Kansas City (11-5).
Pagano says defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois (foot) is listed as day to day. Pagano acknowledges cornerback Greg Toler (groin) is sore but believes he will play in Indy's first home playoff game in nearly three years.
