Graham Gano wants extra points to become 50-yard field goals

Graham Gano is apparently just fine with the extra point attempts being moved back a few yards. Actually, it seems that he'd prefer to have them pushed back even further.

In a tweet first pointed out by David Newton of ESPN, Gano joked about the fact that the extra points should have been changed to 50-yard field goals.

Gano may have a reason behind this statement. As Newton points out, "if extra points were attempted from 50 yards instead of 32 as was adopted by the league on Tuesday, Gano would be an even bigger weapon for Carolina. He was 6-for-6 on field goals of 50 yards or longer in 2013, and he’s 12-of-17 from that distance since 2011."

Wouldn't that be something? It'll probably never, ever happen, but it'd still be fun to watch.
