Fins, Newton to have private workout

Auburn star and Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton will have a private workout with the Miami Dolphins this weekend, sources told NFL.com Wednesday.

Following that, the 21-year-old quarterback will meet with the Bills in Buffalo. Newton met previously with the Bills, who hold the No. 3 overall pick in April's NFL Draft, for a dinner on March 8 — on the eve of his pro day at Auburn.

Newton has a busy few weeks coming up with workouts or interviews also scheduled with the Broncos (No. 2 pick), Bengals (No. 4), Browns (No. 6), Titans (No. 8), Redskins No. 10) and Vikings (No. 12).

The Dolphins own the 15th pick in the draft.
