Eagles' Jason Peters updates his injury and relationship with Chip Kelly

Published Nov. 23, 2015 1:17 a.m. ET

Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters ended up starting in the team's Week 11 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a week of mysterious reports about his injury. After the game, he spoke about the injury.

Over the last two weeks, head coach Chip Kelly and Peters have not seemed to be on the same page when it comes to his injury. Peters practiced Wednesday after Kelly told the media he would not.

"No big deal,'' Peters said after shaking his head in denial about the report that he and Kelly had their differences, per NJ Advanced Media. "Chip talked to you guys first. I told him I thought I could go (Wednesday), so I did some individual stuff. I warmed up, felt good, so I did some stuff. Like I said, no big deal.''

Peters left the game at the end based on the score, but he told reporters his absence was based solely on game flow.
