The move leaves the Dolphins with Ulrick John who was battling with Young for a roster spot. It’s unclear though if this means John will make the team. Miami will likely carry 9 or 10 offensive lineman into the season.

The release of Young is the first of the Dolphins 22 releases that will come before 4:00 p.m. EST today.
Young was listed as a tackle on the Dolphins roster. Miami still has Laremy Tunsil, Branden Albert, Ja’Wuan James, and John listed as tackles.
In other NFL non-related, kind of related non-Dolphins news, confused yet? Former Miami Dolphins general manager Rick Speilman made a blockbuster move today when he sent the Vikings 2017 1st round pick and a 4th round pick to the Eagles for QB Sam Bradford.
Bradford will replace Teddy Bridgewater who tore his ACL in practice this week. Speilman has now traded a 1st for Bradford and a 2nd round pick in 2004 to the Eagles for A.J. Feeley. And we all know how that worked out.
