A look at Tim Tebow's day at New York Jets training camp:

---

TEBOW TIME: The Jets held their final public practice of training camp, with about 2,000 fans in attendance Friday - and many calling out Tim Tebow's name throughout. The team did more game-planning for their meeting Sunday night with the Carolina Panthers.

HOW'D HE DO: Tebow completed five of seven passes for limited yardage in team drills, and also worked as the punt protector on special teams. He also played the role of Cam Newton as part of the scout team offense in preparation for the Panthers. After completing a screen pass to Tarren Lloyd for 6 yards in team drills, Tebow went into the shotgun, faked running into the line and threw a short pass to Jeremy Stewart. He attempted one long pass into the end zone, a fade intended for Wes Kemp, but the toss was incomplete with good coverage by Darrelle Revis.

TEBOWMANIA: In the never-ending comparisons between the Jets' two quarterbacks, here's one more: Yahoo! Sports reported that starter Mark Sanchez has an overall ranking of 81 in EA Sports' ''Madden NFL `13'' video game - four points higher than Tebow.

TALKING TEBOW: ''There's a lot that I've learned from Tim and his professionalism. You know how his approach is to this game and that's one thing everybody has to respect about him - and I certainly do.'' - Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton on Tebow. The two were teammates for two seasons at the University of Florida before Newton left the program in 2009.
