Cowboys' Randy Gregory reportedly withdraws appeal of 10-game suspension

It looks like the Dallas Cowboys won't have defensive end Randy Gregory for nearly the entire season. Gregory withdrew his appeal of his 10-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy multiple times and will be suspended through Week 14, ESPN reported Monday.

Gregory is currently serving a four-game suspension for violating the substance abuse policy in February. The league was discussing an increase to that penalty after Gregory failed another test.
Gregory, who fell to the second round of the 2015 draft after testing positive for marijuana at the combine, played in 12 games as a rookie last year but failed to record a sack.
Last week, Gregory reportedly was released from rehab, and the team officially moved him from the reserve/did not report list to the reserve/suspended list.
