Cardinals sign former UA cornerback Shaquille Richardson

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) The Arizona Cardinals have signed cornerback Shaquille Richardson, who played collegiately at Arizona.

Richardson was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers last year and spent most of the season on the practice squad before being released on Oct. 15. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in February but was released on April 21.

At Arizona, he played in 49 games, 37 as a starter, with 189 tackles and 10 interceptions.
