Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan is "healed up" after a serious car accident two months ago, according to a video posted by TMZ.com Monday.

Brennan suffered several broken bones and a head injury when the SUV he was a passenger in struck another vehicle head-on and flipped on Hawaii's Big Island. Brennan spent a week in the hospital.

TMZ spoke with Brennan in Los Angeles Sunday. The 27-year-old said he felt "pretty good" and was just starting to resume working out in an effort to return to the field.

Brennan was released in September by the Raiders following training camp.

At Hawaii from 2004 to 2007, Brennan set an NCAA record for most career touchdown passes with 131, though the record was broken in 2008 by Texas Tech's Graham Harrell.

In his senior season, Brennan was a Heisman Trophy finalist and led the Warriors to a berth in the Sugar Bowl.
