The Buffalo Bills have had to overcome several key injuries this season, with LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins among them. In addition to losing playmakers on offense, the Bills have also been without safety Aaron Williams for part of the season.

On Wednesday, the team announced they'll be without him for a while longer as they've placed him on injured reserve with designation to return. He'll be sidelined from practice for six weeks, and won't be eligible to return to game action until Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Williams sustained the injury in Week 2 against the New England Patriots when he attempted to make a tackle on the sideline. He was able to return last week against the Tennessee Titans, but it's clear he isn't fully healthy.

To replace Williams on the 53-man roster, the Bills signed safety Josh Bush. He played in three games for the Denver Broncos this season and has recorded 10 tackles and an interception since entering the league as a sixth-round pick of the New York Jets in 2012.
