Bears players use term 'genius' to describe DC Vic Fangio

When John Fox was hired to be the head coach of the Chicago Bears in January, he chose Vic Fangio to take over as the team's new defensive coordinator. Fangio pulled Chicago's 4-3 defense apart at the seams and installed a revamped, 3-4 scheme.
The results have been surprisingly impressive.
The Bears are beginning to gel on defense. They've won three out of their last four games, and Fangio's unit has held each opponent under 20 points during this span. Chicago's defenders are starting to buy into the system; some are going so far as to call their coordinator a "genius."

This Sunday, the Bears will host the San Francisco 49ers, who average a league-worst 13.8 points per game. Fangio's defense should feast again in Week 13.
