Adrian Peterson makes two bold predictions about 2016 season

Within minutes of the Minnesota Vikings' season-ending loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round of the playoffs, star running back Adrian Peterson was already making predictions about next year.
First, Peterson predicted that the Vikings would earn the first seed in the NFC.
Then, he forecasted that 2016 will be one of the best seasons of his career.
“Coming back for this next season, it will probably be one of my best seasons ever.” - @AdrianPeterson

Peterson won the 2015 rushing title with 1,485 yards, but he only gained 45 yards on 23 carries against the Seahawks (2.0 yards per carry). Although Blair Walsh's failed field-goal attempt from 27 yards out will be remembered as the play that lost the game, Peterson's fourth-quarter fumble was just as much to blame. The mishap should motivate him throughout the offseason.
With three career rushing titles, including a 2,000-yard season in 2012, next year will have to be pretty special to be considered one of Peterson's best. He'll need to win another title and lead the Vikings on a deep playoff run in order to fulfill both of his prophecies.
